Welcome to My Practice
I am Dr Tracy King, and I’m passionate about helping people heal, grow, and find balance in their lives. Whether you're struggling with trauma, relationships, neurodiversity, managing anxiety, coping with grief, or facing a major life transition, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your challenges and work toward meaningful change.
Therapeutically I specialise in supporting women and couples to heal, grow, and find balance in their lives.
At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to blending science and holistic practice. This integrative foundation sits at the centre of everything I do, ensuring that psychological insight, nervous system science, and evidence-informed therapies work seamlessly alongside mind-body approaches, spiritual attunement, and soul-based healing.
My therapeutic work focuses on women’s health and the emotional landscapes that shape their lives. I provide specialist support for Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), neurodivergent relationships and parenting, fertility challenges, reproductive and perinatal loss, chronic health concerns, pain and illness, complex trauma, dissociation, anxiety, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, phobias, burnout and chronic stress, and the emotional pressures experienced by professional women.
I also support women navigating spiritual awakening and spiritual emergence, helping them ground, integrate, and make sense of expanded states of consciousness and explore any unconscious potential gifts and talents.
A significant part of my clinical work includes recovery from narcissistic abuse, coercive control, and relational trauma, supporting women as they rebuild identity, safety, and inner stability.
With couples, I work at the intersection of attachment, communication, trauma histories, spirituality, chronic stress, and neurodivergence and betrayal, helping partners understand one another more deeply and reconnect with emotional presence.
My integrative approach
My practice is rooted in both the measurable and the meaningful. I draw from Internal Family Systems, Transactional Analysis, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic and nervous system therapies, Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Jungian and inner child work, trauma-informed breathwork, meditation, yoga philosophy, and shamanic healing practices including energy work, ritual, and soul-based narrative processes, where that feels appropriate for clients.
This allows us to work with thoughts, emotions, physiology, unconscious patterns, and spiritual meaning in a coherent and deeply personalised way.
Every therapeutic journey begins with an in-depth assessment to understand your needs and identify whether a traditional psychological pathway of a pure evidence-based therapy or a blended integrative approach will support you best.
I also run group programmes designed to make specialist care more accessible and community focused.
Therapeutic safety
I offer therapy to women and couples who are no longer in actively unsafe, coercive, or high risk situations. My role is to support stabilisation, healing, and recovery once safety has been established.
Court based, medico legal, and workplace assessments
Alongside my therapeutic practice, I provide family court assessments, family court work, criminal and medico-legal psychological assessments, and workplace needs assessments for men, women and children, including individuals currently in complex or high-risk circumstances. This is purely evidence-based work and not holistic.
How sessions take place
All therapeutic work for women and couples is delivered online only, offering accessibility, flexibility, and a confidential space from wherever you are.
Court-based, medico-legal, and occupational assessments may be completed online or in person, depending on requirements.
I also offer regular online group therapy and coaching programmes designed to make therapy and coaching more accessible and affordable, providing a community-centered approach to healing.
Specialisations
I specialise in working with women and couples therapeutically and men, women and children across the lifespan for assessment purposes.

I also specialise in behavioural profiling, helping the criminal justice system understand the motivations and patterns of behaviour in criminal contexts to consider, matters in investigation planning, sentencing pathways and risk of recidivism.
For Employers
I provide comprehensive Work-Based Needs Assessments, which involve evaluating the psychological and emotional factors affecting employees' performance and mental health. Whether addressing stress, burnout, anxiety, or interpersonal dynamics, these assessments are tailored to both employees and employers, offering actionable strategies to foster healthier, more supportive work environments. The goal is to create a balanced work-life dynamic that promotes productivity, engagement, and well-being.
For Cosmetic Surgery Clinics
The General Medical Council has set out standards for cosmetic surgeons in the UK and notes that Surgeons must assess whether a patient is psychologically suitable for the procedure.
Undergoing cosmetic surgery can be a deeply personal decision that impacts both body image and emotional well-being. I conduct Cosmetic Surgery Psychological Assessments to ensure that clients are mentally and emotionally prepared for their procedure. Approaches that Inform My Practice
Polyvagal Theory as a Foundation
Polyvagal Theory informs every approach I offer, focusing on working with the nervous system, particularly the vagus nerve, rather than allowing it to work against us. By increasing a person's window of tolerance —the capacity to stay regulated during stress or emotional challenges—through vagal toning techniques, we create a stable foundation for healing and growth. This approach ensures that each therapeutic modality I use, whether it's trauma-focused, body-based, cognitive, creative or spiritual, is grounded in helping clients build safety, resilience, and a deeper connection to their body’s natural wisdom.

Divination tools such as pendulums, cards, automatic writing, akashic records, connection with spirit, numerology, astrology and human design allow a canvas for unconscious projections to gain a wider awareness of the soul and provide a framework of interpretations to consider. In line with Jungian Psychology Spiritual divination can be seen as a reflective tool that helps us connect with deeper levels of the psyche. We develop awareness from that which resonates and that which does not.
